Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to consider the environmental comfort for the bedridden elderly people. There are two important problems that who care the bedridden elderly people and where they are cared. The survey and experimental research were conducted. The results were as follows : 1) Both the at-home bedridden elderly people and the nursing home bedridden elderly people, the keyword of care is "family". 2) In the nursing home, the keyword of care is "humanity". Among the nursing homes, there are some that bind a elderly to a bed, and a elderly wear clothes with key. The propriety of these acts are doubted, but the best method of nursing care is not found. 3) In the environmental comfort for the bedridden elderly people, the sleeping materials, such as mattress, pillow and cloth, are very important. It is necessary to make clear those materials' effects scientifically. 4) In the living conditions, the expectation for clothing information was not high. It is necessary to consider the informed method. 5) It was found that the expectation for clothing information was not high. It is necessary to consider the informed method.
