Research Abstract |
Integration of applied nathematics, applied physics, numerical calculation method and information processing which are basic technical subjects in industrial colleges of technology is undertaken. Our concrete proposals concern with (1) Position of an integrated subject at the educational course, (2) Educational target, contents and method of the integrated subject and (3) Its teaching material. In addition, a detailed shirabas is proposed. These proposal are reported in several society lectures. The teaching material is composed by the followings : (1) Study book which contents theories of applied mathematics and numerical calculation method, (2) Training book which contents subjects of applied physics and information processing. The teaching material is sutable for MS-DOS personal-computer use. Samples of its programing subject are written by using Quick BASIC.An educational method using MS-DOS graphic tools is designed. The teaching material is experimentally used by the authors. Its educational effects are investigated and analyzed. Notable improvement is observed. Results of our research schedule to be published as a book. With this book, students will be able to learn the followings : (1) Kowledge and method of applied mathematics and numerical analysis, (2) How to express problems of physics and engineering mathematically, and analyze them quantitatively, (3) A modern information processing technology using a computer and useful tools. Our research results will contributes to development of advanced educational organization of technology.
