Research Abstract	平成6年度において、我々は複雑なパターンである医学的な専門家の診断知識を大規模なデータベースから抽出する方法を開発することを目的とし、最近注目をあびている帰納学習の方法(Rough集合理論)をより拡張し、診断知識を抽出し、その信頼度をresampling法にて評価するシステムPRIMEROSE及びPRIMEROSE2を開発し、10種類の中規模のデータベース、2種類の200症例以上の大規模データベースについてもシステムを評価した。これらの結果から次のような所見が得られた。 1)データベースによって最適な信頼度の推定方法が微妙に異なること、つまり、あるデータベースでは平均して交叉検証法がよいのにもかかわらず、あるデータベースでは平均してブートストラップ法の方が推定方法として良いことがわかった。 2)データベースの信頼度の推定方法に差がない場合は概してデータベースから得られる規則が簡単であることが多い。 3)データベース内でも各サンプリングによって最適な信頼度の推定方法が微妙に異なることもありうるということがわかった。我々は当研究計画において実施した研究については、新たなリサンプリング方の評価を除いて、ほぼ完成した。さらに、これらの手法の完成とともに、リサンプリング法の評価法、機械学習の手法の評価法についての洞察を得、現在、その方法の完成を目指している。この手法の一部は、94年度のデータベースからの知識発見のワークショップ(KDD-94)において採択、発表され、きわめて先進的であると高い評価を受けた。今後、この手法についても研究を進めていく予定である。
