Research Abstract

実験動物に関係の深い病原体の分類と診断に役立てる目的で,ティザ-菌及びラットから分離されたコリネ菌のSmall subunit of ribosomal RNA(SSUrRNA)の解析を行い,以下のような成果を得た.
1.1917年の発見以来今日に至るも,培養が不可能であるため分類学的位置さえ未定であったチザ-菌の分類学的位置が決定された.同じ研究を,Duncanらが行っており,彼らはClostridium piliforme と命名した.詳細を,辻,リボゾームRNA塩基配列に基づくティザ-菌の系統分類,アニテックス 7(2):109-115,1995.に報告した.
2.ティザ-菌のSSUrRNAの塩基配列を利用した診断方法を確立するため,本菌に特有な塩基配列の検出法を検討し,遺伝子診断への道を開いた.詳細は,Goto,K.and ltoh,T.,Detection of Bacillus piriformis by specific amplification of Ribosomal sequences.Exp.Anim.,43(3),389-394,1994.に示した.
3.ラットから分離されたコリネ菌の確定診断に,SSUrRNA塩基配列の解析が有効であることを示した.詳細は,Takahashi,T.,Tsuji,M.,Kikuchi,N.,Ishihara,C.,Osanai,T.,Kasai,N.,Yanagawa,R.,and Hiramune,T.,Assigment of the bacterial agent of urinary calculus in young rats by the comparative sequence analysis of the 16S rRNA genes of Corynebacteria.J.Vet.Med.Sci.,in press.に示した.
