非弾性トンネルスペクトル及び変位電流法による有機2分子間の接合と電子移動の解析

Research Abstract

本研究では、大きな自発分極を持つ分子のヘテロ2分子膜及び電子供与・受容性基を有する分子の2分子膜を分子配向制御が可能な交互積層LB法により作製した。そして、分子個々の接合を形成し非弾性トンネルスペクトル法(IETS)、変位電流法により、電気的に2分子膜の分子接合の状態評価を行った。
1.自発分極を有する分子のヘテロ2分子膜のIETSによる評価
自発分極を持つ分子として、アラキン酸(C20)とオクタデシルアミン(ODA)を用い、2分子接合膜を形成した。この分子接合の電子的接合状態を評価するために、ポリイミドLB膜をトンネル層として、単分子膜,2分子接合膜のIETSの測定を行った。その結果、2分子接合膜では、単分子膜とは異なったスペクトルを得る事ができ、分子膜界面での電荷の移動が示唆された。また、熱刺激変位電流法によってもこの接合を確認している。
2.電子供与・受容性分子の2分子膜接合の電子移動現象の評価
電子供与・受容性分子として、ポルフィリンポリイミド(PORPI)とカプトン型ポリイミド(PI)を選び、2分子接合膜を形成した。この2分子膜間の電子移動現象を調べるため、2分子膜間の光電位の測定を行った。その結果、2分子膜間の電子移動現象を検出する事ができた。また、分子膜内の電子移動現象に対して、その移動過程の評価・検討を行った。
