NOxの除去を目指した高活性な光触媒反応系の設計

Research Abstract

本研究においては、ゼオライト細孔内にサイズと構造の制御された銅イオン触媒、銀イオン触媒および酸化チタン触媒系を構築し、これらを光触媒として常温でのNOxの直接分解反応の高効率化を指針を得る目的で行った。特に、ゼオライト種や金属イオン種を選択しその配位構造を制御することにより、実条件に近い酸素や水の共存下においても反応性および安定性の低下を起こさない光触媒系の開発を目指した。各種ゼオライトの細孔内の骨格内にイオン交換法や水熱合成法により銅イオン触媒、銀イオン触媒および酸化チタン半導体触媒を調製し、これらのin-situでのESR、ホトルミネッセンス、XAFS、UV、FT-IR測定を行い、触媒の配位構造を明らかにした。これら構造のwell-definedされた触媒を光触媒とする常温におけるNOのN_2とO_2への直接分解反応を行い、特殊反応場における光触媒活性と触媒構造の関係を解明した。特に、より実用に近い酸素や水の共存下での光触媒反応を検討した。ゼオライト種や金属イオン種および触媒調製方法を適切に選択し、光触媒活性種の配位構造を制御することにより、実条件に近い酸素や水の共存下においても反応性および安定性の低下を最低限に抑えることができた。また、これらの触媒系にイオン工学的手法を用いて異種の金属イオンを注入することで、光触媒反応効率の向上と可視光照射下での光触媒反応の実現を目指し、さらには太陽光で稼働する光触媒系の設計において有用な指針を得ることができた。
