Research Abstract	アクセプター導入カルバゾールオリゴマーの光キャリヤ発生および電気光学効果を調べ、フォトリフラクティブ効果の発現に必要な多機能性を有することを確認した。擾乱によって乱れた画面の波面の補正が4光波混合による位相共役波によって可能となった。(雀部) キサンテン系色素とアゾ系色素を含む二色素混合膜による、互いに直交した二種類の位相共役波の偏光特性の測定から、実効的な非線型感受率の振幅と位相差を調べた。二色素の混合比を変えることにより、実効的な非線型感受率の振幅と位相差をある範囲で変化させることができた。この色素膜に固有の位相差を位相補償板を用いて打ち消すことにより、ノベルテイフィルタリングや位相共役干渉が可能となった。(藤原) 本研究では、一方の末端に電子供与性の強さが異なる置換基(SMeおよびOMe)を有する一連の分子内電荷移動型ビチオフェン誘導体の合成を行い、それらの分子構造と電子物性について検討した。電荷移動吸収帯の遷移エネルギーが溶媒の極性(π^*値)と負の一次の相関関係があり、その感受率はSMe誘導体の方がOMe誘導体よりも大きいことを見いだした。また、低エネルギーシフトする程度について、OMe誘導体の場合は、共役長の長短に依存せず、一方、SMe誘導体の場合はねじれ型配座の分子構造の方においてより大きく現れる傾向を見いだした。(尾島)
