Research Abstract	1、自家不和合成に関する研究(磯貝,崎山,神山,渡辺,福井) (1)胞子体型植物の自家不和合成:SLG蛋白質との相互作用が予想される花粉表層の一群の蛋白質PCPについて、その塩基配列を決定した。蛍光ディファレンシャルディスプレーによってS遺伝子毎に異なり、花粉で発現しているmRNAを見いだし、現在、解析中である。SLGとSRKをコードするゲノム断片を用いて、高解像度のFISHを行い、その間の距離を推定した。またゲノム遺伝子からの解析で、S遺伝子座にあり、花粉でも発現している遺伝子群を単離した。一方、サツマイモについて、S遺伝子型特異的な蛋白質の存在から、それをコードする遺伝子の塩基配列を決定した。 (2)配偶体型植物の自家不和合成:ニホンナシのS-RNaseについて、X選結晶解析のための結晶の作成に成功した。また花粉のS遺伝子産物の候補として、特異的な蛋白質の存在を2次元電気泳動で見いだした。 2、初期胚発生,不定胚形成に関する研究(鎌田,北野) (1)ニンジンの不定胚形成の制御因子であるABAの情報伝達の仲介蛋白質遺伝子としてのCABI-3について、形質転換体などの作成により、その機能の解析を行い、この発現を制御している因子が胚を規定する因子であると推定した。 (2)イネの胚発生突然変異体を用い,初期発生に関与する遺伝子につき、それらの遺伝関係を調査し、関連する座位を明らかにし、分子レベルでの研究の基礎データを得た。
