Research Abstract	今年度は本研究計画の最終年度である。本研究計画は、わが国における低エネルギーから中高エネルギーの領域で原子核衝突の理論的研究が微視的研究を中心にして国際的に第一級の独創的研究が数多く活発に為されている状況を背景として進められたものである。代表的な研究課題として、(1)「中高エネルギー重イオン反応の量子力学的微視的シミュレーション理論による研究」、(2)「中性子過剰あるいは陽子過剰の不安定核による種々の反応過程の研究」、(3)「宇宙における元素合成の研究の為の低エネルギー核反応の精密理論計算」、(4)「クラスター模型による核反応研究」がある。これら主要課題毎に今年度の目立った実績のほんの一部の例を挙げると以下のようである。詳細は研究成果報告書に譲る。(1)については反対称化分子動力学が“Au+Au"という重核系を分析出来るようになり、実験が理論により良く再現されるに至り、破砕反応の動力学の理解が大きく進展した。(2)については複素回転法による不安定核共鳴状態の研究が一層の進展を見せ、TDHF法による不安定核融合反応の微視的研究が実験と対比出来る結果を出す段階に至った。(3)については、低エネルギー重イオン融合反応研究が精密化して分光学的研究に資するほどに至り、また銀河の化学進化モデルと原子核素粒子理論を結合させて元素の起源と進化を研究するモデルが一層精密化された。(4)については、中性子過剰核のクラスター構造を破砕反応で研究する新しい考えが提案され、また天体核反応のクラスター模型計算が一層進展した。本研究計画実施の3年間には、当初の目的に叶った豊富な研究成果が得られているが、それには理論的研究独自の展開が強力に進められたことを中心とはするが、同時におよびその背景に実験的研究との実り多い交流・協力関係の果たした役割が大きかった。特に不安定核研究に代表されるようにわが国は実験と理論が強い協力関係を持った形で国際的にも指導的な役割を果たしており、それを受け継ぎ新たな興隆を作り出す上で本研究計画は非常に有用な役割を果たしてきたと考えている。本研究計画の扱う研究分野はどれも国際的協力や交流が盛んに行われているので、最終年度にあたって総合的横断的な研究交流を行い将来の新たな展望を開拓するために研究集会の開催を、海外からも第一線の研究者を多数招聘しての国際研究集会の形で行った。この国際研究集会は本研究代表者が組織委員長の一人として平成9年11月に大阪で開催した「原子核多体問題における革新的計算方法に関する国際会議」であって、研究の最前線に関する多くの研究発表や活発な議論が行われ大変に意義深く研究計画実行に大いに寄与した。
