Research Abstract

本研究の目的は、この高分子の特質である乱れのなかの秩序性・柔軟性(応答性)を解明することである。すなわち、高分子が主役となっているソフトマテリアルの構造とダイナミックスを、構造の乱れを制御しその機能を解析するとの観点から、解明することである。
高分子系について(1)まず個々の分子の形態やダイナミックスなど分子特性を検討する。(2)希薄、準希薄、濃厚、バルクと濃度変化に伴う構造変化や物性変化を分子特性を基礎に解明する。(3)ポリマーブレンド、ブロックコポリマーの物性、パターン形成、相転移などを研究する。(4)これらの理論的基礎を現象論・分子論の両面から検討するとの問題設定のもとに、研究グループごとあるいは各研究者は、自信の研究成果及び問題点について論議した。それらの成果は、平成8年1月19-21日の三日間に亘り静岡県蒲郡において開催された全員参加による研究会において発表され、さらに議論を深め今後の研究の展開に役立つ情報交換がなされた。この研究会には研究分担者以外の多くの当該分野において活躍している研究者の参加も得、新しいアプローチ、新たな研究展開へより開かれた研究活動を行っていく素地が得られた。この研究会での議論の内容は129頁の要旨集としてまとめられている。また、研究分担者による公表された具体的研究成果は別項に掲げた通りである。
