Research Abstract |
The main purpose of this research is to examine the composition of a decentralized multimedia science museum database. By means of practice, it has been possible to develop and improve such this database. In fact, the number of Web sites has explosively increased for the three years during which the research was carried out. Therefore, the educational activity using Web sites such as science museum ones was attempted in many places. Besides, several problems like, for example, the information morality, have been also clarified. The results of this research have been stated in 6 Chapters. The frequent update of contents and the active communication among users proved to play an outstanding role all along the study course on the Internet. Moreover, when the science museum designed its Web site, there were many problems, for instance, the regulation of the information opened to the public, a high expectation for mutual connection to get specific information related to a special field, etc. In addition, the psycho-physiological change of the visitors of the science museum was analyzed by using the Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia method. Further more, the suppliance of the real-time measurement data on the network was examined and the change in the future network for educational purposes was estimated.
