Research Abstract

竹内は粘菌のゲノム・プロジェクトを推進するワーキンググループを研究班内に組織し、具体的計画の作製に努め、イギリス・アメリカのグループとの国際的対応もはかりつつある。
形態形成の分子機構 須藤は挿入突然変異法により細胞質分裂変異株と走化性変異株を単離した。その一つはRas GTPase activating protein領域を含む遺伝子であった。落合は接着タンパク質gp64にたいするanti-sense RNA法により、遺伝子発現を抑制すると細胞接着能が減少する事を確認した。祐村は細胞骨格関連タンパク質であるAB-120とAB-95を欠損させた細胞の細胞骨格の構築を検討した。
細胞分化の分子機構 前田(靖)は増殖・分化の切り換え過程に発現する遺伝子を見出し、一つは新規のカルシュウム結合性タンパク質であり、また、分化の比率調節にシアン耐性呼吸が重要である事を明らかにした。大畠は予定胞子細胞の分化誘導因子を単一に精製した。石田は多細胞体の形成後、乳頭突起形成期で発生が停止するtipless挿入突然変異体を分離し、この遺伝子の一部を分離した。前田(ミ)はMAPキナーゼ(ERK2)活性化経路を解析した。ERK2は細胞外のcAMPにより活性化され、この活性化は細胞膜上のcAMPの受容体への結合を介して起こった。小山は高浸透圧ストレスの細胞内情報伝達にたいする作用を調べ、Na/H交換体の関与を示唆する結果を得た。田仲はPolysphondylium属に挿入突然変異法を適用し複数個の変異体を得た。漆原は有性生殖異常の挿入変異体を分離した。
