| Research Abstract |
本年度は主要設備費として光照射用窓付Q-バンド用レゾネータを購入し、直接レーザー照射を行って、過渡的EPR信号を100ナノ秒の時間分解能で観測できるように整備した。
これと並行して次の課題について研究を行った。
1.大きな零磁場分裂定数を持つ有機化合物の電子構造
ジフェニルポリインは、三重結合の数が増大するにつれ、零磁場分裂定数が増大することを明らかにした。この結果は、これまでの予想とは全く逆の傾向を示しており、分子軌道計算を基に詳しい解析を行っている。また、ナフトキノンは近接励起状態間の相互作用が大きいことが明らかとなり、理論計算と合わせて、励起状態の電子構造についての研究を進めている。
2.微結晶シリコン中の常磁性サイトと物性の関係
高周波EPRの特徴を生かして、異方性や信号の分離を行い、物性との関連について研究を進めている。
スピン軌道相互作用による電子スピン分極機構
電子スピン分極に対する重原子の位置、溶媒の極性および濃度効果の測定を行い、反応スキームをたて、反応速度式の解析から、新しいスピン分極機構の分子モデルを提案した。
