| Research Abstract |
昨年度に続き、観測装置の改良・観測を行った。
スペースデブリの観測では、昨年度開発したチョッピングシステムにより、静止衛星、静止軌道周辺デブリの1秒角にせまる位置精度のデータを得た。これにより、レーダー観測によって予報された位置に対して、本研究の光学観測によりシステマティックなずれがある事を検出した。これらの原因追究には今後の継続観測は必要である。
一方、地球近傍小惑星の追跡観測も順調に進められ、今年度は320個を越えるものの位置決定を行い(国際天文学連合回報に掲載済み)、より確かな軌道決定をすることを可能にした。
本研究では、専用の望遠鏡のない状況であるが、将来のシステムのための基礎開発をかなり進めることができた。今後は観測装置によりマッチングしたソフトの開発により、より微小で暗い天体の検出を進められるようにしたい。
