| Research Abstract |
1.放射光とマルチアンビル装置を組みあわせ、28GPa、2000℃領域でのX線その場観察技術を確立し、ルーチン化した。
2.上記の技術を用いて蛇紋石の相転移と非晶質化、透輝石の下部マントル領域での相転移。金の融解実験等をおこなった。特に本年度は透輝石の下部マントル条件下での2つのペロフスカイト相への分解反応を高温高圧下でのその場観察実験により明らかにするとともに、これらの非圧縮率の見積りもおこなった。
3.下部マントル領域における含水高圧相(DHMS)の可能性としてPhase Dが最も重要であることを指摘した。また、従来明らかでなかったこの相の化学組成やX線回析パターンを明らかにした。
4.410km不連続面の成因と関連し、H_2Oの効果および多成分系の効果を実験的に検討した。特にSIMSを用いて試料中のH_2Oの定量をおこない、H_2Oの存在がこの不連続面のシャープさに関係する実験的裏づけを得た。現在、さらに660km不連続面の性質を解明すべく、より詳細な実験的研究をすすめている。
