Research Abstract	結晶内不純物原子の電子構造を解明する目的で、新核四重極共鳴法による結晶内電場勾配の研究を行った。実験研究としては、短寿命ベータ放射性核を結晶内に植え込み、ベータ核磁気共鳴法の技法を応用した新核四重極共鳴法(NNQR)を適用し、原子核との電氣四重極相互作用を通して結晶内電場勾配を系統的に研究した。一方理論研究は第1原理に基づくKKR法による不純物電子構造の計算を行い、実験値との比較から予言能力の向上を計った。特に平成7年度に於いて研究が進んだ項目は以下の通りである。 1)短寿命ベータ放射性核^<20>Fをイオン結晶MgF_2内に打ち込み、フッ素核位置における結晶電場勾配の精密測定を行った。 2)TiO_2結晶内に安定不純物核45Scを植え込み、不純物核^<45>Scの電場勾配をFT-NMR法により測定した。またこれとは独立に安定核49Tiの電場勾配もFT-NMR法により測定した。これらの実測値を、第1原理に基づく理論計算結果と比較して、理論計算法の信頼性の評価を得た。 3)FT-NMR法の適用眼界を拡げるために安定核^<17>Oを増殖したTiO_2結晶を作成して、TiO_2結晶内^<17>の電場勾配の精密測定を行った。 4)短寿命ベータ放射性核^<19>O核をTiO_2結晶内の酸素核位置に打ち込み、測定された電場勾配の値と既知の^<17>O核磁気モーメントの値を用いて、その^<19>O核電気四重極モーメントを初めて決定した。
