変位電流法による分子膜内の荷電粒子の微視的変位及び分子形態変化の記録に関する研究

Research Abstract

ほぼ当初の計画を達成できたと考えている。具体的な研究成果を要約すると以下のようになる。
変位電流法による分子膜物性量の評価法の開発
(1)水面上に形成した液晶性および脂質単分子膜の圧力刺激による変位電流測定を行い、単層膜から3層膜への相転移現象を見いだすことができた。
(2)水面上分子膜をブラウン運動方程式を用いて記述し、この方程式から変位電流の理論式を導くことができた。また、熱刺激変位電流の理論式を導き、実験結果を解析的に説明した。
(3)nsecオーダで移動する膜内の微視的電子移動現象を、光電位測定システムを開発し計測した。そして、電子移動距離、移動速度などを実験的に確かめるとともに、簡単な解析モデルから説明した。
非弾性トンネルスペクトルを用いた膜内、膜間の電子移動現象および分子形態変化の計測
(1)非弾性トンネルスペクトル測定装置を改善(感度向上)し、有機2分子膜形成により、単分子膜では見られないスペクトルの違いを確認することができた。
(2)表面電位法により、電極と分子膜界面での電子移動の様子を観測することができた。また、ポリイミドおよびフタロシアニン膜について、ナノメートルのオーダでの空間電荷分布、および界面エネルギー準位密度分布を決定することができた。
分子形態変化の記録に関する研究
(1)アゾベンゼン系の分子に着目し、光入力に対する光異性化に伴う分子膜内での分子の形態変化による双極子の動きを変位電流を通して明かとすることができた。
アゾベンゼンのシス-トランス光異性化に伴う構造変化の刺激を液晶分子に伝え、力学的な刺激伝達の様子を変位電流として検出することができた。また、基板上にアゾベンゼン単分子膜を形成した液晶セルを試作して、アゾベンゼンから液晶分子への刺激伝達の様を光吸収スペクトルおよび変位電流波形から確認できた。
