| Research Abstract |
古地磁気強度決定実験のための新しい測定系の製作
研究代表者らが以前に発表したアイディア(Kono et al., J. Geomag. Geoelectr.,43,429,1991)にもとづき新しい測定系を設計製作した.製作は(株)夏原技研に依頼した.装置は(1)電気炉および温度制御装置,(2)試料回転・平行移動部,(3)フラックスゲートセンサー,アンプ,(4)位置・回転検出部,(5)磁場印加コイル,(6)3層磁気シールド,(7)制御用コンピュータからなる。
2.上記測定系のためのソフトウェア開発
この測定系は全てをパソコンで制御する予定である.(1)モータによる回転と角度検出,(2)モータによる平行移動と位置検出,(3)フラックスゲートセンサーからの信号検出と増幅,(4)信号のFFT処理と磁化要素(I,D,M)への変換,のプログラムコードを開発した.今後更に(5)温度検出と電気炉制御,(6)磁場コントロール,(7)測定結果解析,などのためのソフトウェアを開発する予定である。
3.古地磁気強度測定実験
上記のように測定系の実用化へ向けた取り組みは順調に進行しており,新年度から火山岩試料を用いて強度測定実験を行なう予定である。
