Research Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual conditions of lifelong learning seen in local areas and the important roles of admistration in promotion of the lifelong learning and the Law of Promotion of Lifelong Learning, 1990. To attain above objects, I have undertaken some studies on the development of lifelong learning adoministration in prefectures. As a result, I find out the live viewpoint which should be considered by administrators and future researches.
1. The reports of the national councils and the government grants on the lifelong learning have produced much effects on that promotion. But we should pay attention to some projects in which have been reflected the historical products of the social education.
2. The leadership and excellent understanding of the headman are the important points in promotion of the lifelong learning both in prefectures and in municipalities.
3. The extent of eqipment and the degree of enthusiasm to the provision for the chance of lifelong learning in prefectures have much effect on the level of promotion of the lifelong learning in municipalities.
4. The learning needs of many people are becoming more multicative and higher advanced. llence, there are in need of the regeional planning for admistrative projects related to the lifelong learning.
5. In order to take a measure to meet the needs of people who could not catch hold of the learning chances, we must give special consideration to the way that the social education and the supportive measures should be.
