| Research Abstract |
リー環と代数群の研究、とくにKac-Moody型の群と代数的K-理論についての研究を行なった。体上のKac-Moody群については、当研究代表者により、その構造、とくにホモロジー的構造(シュアー乗法群)が明らかにされているが、ここでは整数環Z上の構造を研究した。とくにA^<(1)>_1型について、ループ群に対して、第1ホモロジー群の構造を完全に決定し、さらにその応用として、Kac-Moody群についても、その位数が144か72であることが判明した。さらに、今後群論的アプローチにより、そのいずれかかを決定したい。またそのためには、群関手SL_2の性質を解明する必要があり、代数的K-理論の側面からも数論的研究を行なった。その結果、体上の場合と、整数環Z[1/P]上の場合とでは、その構造(特にK_2群の構造)が大きく異なることが判明した。従って、A^<(1)>_1型の場合にも、そこの所を解明することが、非常に大きな意味があることが判る。一方、研究分担者とこれらの点について様々な角度から共同研究を行ない、群論的、幾何学的等の成果を得た。
