| Research Abstract |
インドのAnzia属地衣を調べ,新種Anzia kohimanaを発表した.また,日本産のセスジアンチゴケから新物質(sublobaric acidとoxolobaric acid)を発見し,近縁種との違いを明らかにした.
カブトゴケ科の地衣は大気汚染で急速に消滅しつつあり,近畿地方の大台ケ原での調査ではヨロイゴケ類やエビラゴケ類はみられたがカブトゴケ類を観察できなかった.なお,このようなカブトゴケ類の消滅は世界的な規模で起こっており,現状を平成10年5月ウクライナのカルパチア山地で現地シンポジウムに招待され,発表する.
平成7年(北海道)平成8年(秋田)の多量な試料による化学成分の研究では従来見逃していたレカノール酸,オルセリン酸メチールエステルがLobaria tuberculataに存在することを発見し,本種の重要な成分とされた4-O-メチルジロフォール酸を含まないものもあることが判明した.またLobaria sachaliensisにはレチゲ-ル酸B.のみしか含まれてないことも確かめた.これらの研究を基礎として,チベットや中国で最近これらの地衣を採集したObermyer博士(オーストリア・グラツ大学)およびT.Ahti教授(フィンランド・ヘルシンキ大学)より数百点のカブトゴケ資料を借用し研究を進めた.日本特産で奇種とされたLobaria kazawaensis(Asah.)Yoshim.,L.tuberuculataがチベットに産することが判明した.
Lobaria科地衣の属の概念を調べ,とくに地衣体裏面の構造からいくつかの群に分類した.Lobarina属(タイプLobarina scrobiculata)を再確認し,新たに中南米の新属Durietzia(タイプLobaria crenulata)を立てた.中南米のカブトゴケ類の分類を発表し,種の検索表と分布の概略を発表した.Durietzia属(5種),Lobaria pulmonaria群(1種),Lobaria quercizans群(6種),Lobaria discolor群(2種),Lobaria peltigera群(7種).
