Research Abstract |
1. Matsumoto basin and Ina valley were selected as this studying field. General meteorological factors (i. e. air temperature, soil temperature, precipitation, solar radiation and so on) were measured in the westem mountain slope of the Ina valley. The fundamental data of meteo-hydrological, terrain and land-use in the field are collected and recompiled. 2. The relationships between topographcal factors and meteorological data in the mountain area were analyzed. The results that lapse rate and daily range of air temperature were influenced by local and large-scale topographical effects were obtained. 3. Flowering day of apple tree was predicted from DTS method (the Days Transformed at the Standard Temperature) using on-line meteorological data, that was observed by regional meteorological network. As the predicted values were in close agreement with the observed, use of the on-line data on regional meteorological network was effective measures in the management of ecological resources 4. It was discussed about relations among environmental condition, land use and productivity in the region. Consequently, potential productivity, which is the maximum plant production rate under favorable environmental conditions, takes an important role in regional evaluation of meteorological and ecological resources.
