| Research Abstract |
(1)Rh蛋白遺伝子解析を進め、RhPIおよびRhPII蛋白-cDNAのスプライシングマップを完成するとともに赤血球前駆細胞の分化におけるスプライシング・スイッチングとRh蛋白分子種の変換を明らかにした。
(2)RhPIおよびRhPIIのゲノム構造解析を進め、プロモーター領域の塩基配列を決定するとともにイントロン内に特徴的な塩基配列領域を見出した。
(3)Duffy蛋白の新しいcDNAをクローニングし、赤血球系細胞と血管内皮細胞における各々の転写開始部位を同定した。
(4)Duffy蛋白-mRNAのスプライシング・アイソフォームを分離するとともに、Duffy蛋白のゲノム構造を決定した。
(5)各種白血病細胞株における血液型物質の発現について、蛋白とmRNAの両側面から検討した。
