| Research Abstract |
角田太作
オーストラリアのキンバリー地区で、ワンジラ語、ジャロ語、マルギン語などについての現地調査を行い、言語学的、社会史的、人類学的資料を収集した。言語学についてはテキストと語彙を収集し、文法の諸項目を点検した。社会史的な面ではハンセン氏病について、患者、医者、看護婦などから直接資料を収集し、キンバリー地区における原住民のハンセン氏病の実態を調査した。人類学的側面についてはさまざまな家族の系統に関する詳細な資料をえた。
松村一登
マリ語の語彙・文法に関する現地調査を行なった。またバルト・フィン諸語に関するテクスト収集を行ない、それらを電子化する方法を検討した。
福井玲
韓国の慶尚南道および全羅南道において、主として音韻、アクセント、語彙に関する現地調査を行なった。慶尚南道に接する全羅南道光陽郡方言において、慶尚道にみられるのと類似するが若干体系の異なるピッチアクセントが存在することを見いだした。
ウイリアム・マグレガ-(William McGregor)
東京大学で、グニヤンディ語、ワルワ語、ニョル・ニョル諸語などキンバリーの諸言語の分析を行なった。特にニョル・ニョル諸語の疑似受動文について公開講演会を行った。更に、東京大学など日本の研究者と、オーストラリア原住民語、統語理論、談話分析、社会言語学などさまざまなテーマについて討論を行った。
ティート・レイン・ヴィーツォ(Tiito-Rein Viitso)
東京大学において、バルト・フィン系の少数言語(リーブ語他)の現状、ウラル系諸語全般、エストニア語の音韻に関する講義を行ない、松村とウラル系諸語のテクスト電子化について討議した。
