Research Abstract

(1) 平成9年9月に開催した第2回作業部会、およびその後の国内における討議の結果、得られた方針にもとづいて、音声データベース、韻律ラベリング、音声入出力評価手法に関する国内の共同研究を進めた。
(2) 東アジア諸言語の音声データベース及び入出力評価に関する作業部会を筑波大学において開催し、特に欧米諸言語との差異に基づく諸問題に関して討議を行った(平成10年5月18・19日)。
(3) 欧州の研究分担者の所属する諸研究機関を訪問して、共同研究の円滑な推進をはかるとともに、スペイン・グラナダ市で開催された言語資源及び評価において関係研究者と意見交換を行った(平成10年5月24日〜6月1日)。
(4) 米国の研究分担者・協力者の所属する諸研究機関を訪問して、共同研究の円滑な推進をはかり、また第3回作業部会に関する準備打合せを行った(平成10年6月、7月、8月)。
(5) オーストラリア・ジェノランケーブスの第3回ESCA/COCOSDA音声合成作業部会において、音声入出力技術評価に関する共同研究の成果を発表し、討議を行った。さらにシドニー市において1998年音声言語処理国際会議が開催される機会に、第3回の作業部会を開催し、本研究の国内外分担者・協力者多数の参加のもとに、日・欧・米の検討結果と成果の取りまとめに関する意見交換を行った(平成10年11・12月)。
(6) 米国・マサチューセッツ工科大学及びドイツ・ベルリン工科大学(米国・欧州音響学会合同会議)において、米・欧における研究結果の最終的な把握と、成果の取りまとめに関する討議を行った(平成11年3月)。
