| Research Abstract |
平成9年3月1日〜4日までインドネシア大学を訪問し、研究分担者と協議を行い以下の研究プロジェクトの作成を行った。近年歯科応用が進められているチタンに関してその理工学的性質、応用方法の解析を行う。またチタン使用に関する歯学部学生の意識調査を両国間で行い比較検討を行う。顎顔面の発生過程と硬組織疾患の関連を分子生物学的手法を用いて明らかにする。両国の顎顔面疾患の発生率と顎矯正治療の実情を調査し比較を行い、インドネシアにおける顎矯正治療の改善法に関して助言を行う。重症歯周病の発症率に関しての両国の比較を行い、遺伝的要因や原因菌種に関する比較を行う。歯槽骨吸収を抑制する薬物に関する基礎研究を行い、将来歯周組織再生への薬物治療の可能性を探求する。作成した研究プロジェクトに従ってインドネシア側研究者と協力しながら調査研究を行い、具体的研究プロセスの把握を行った。次年度の両国間の研究分担項目を作成、確認を行い、両国間の研究調査スケジュールに関して合意を得た。
