Research Abstract	1.各班会議にて各研究班の進展状況を把握し、評価、助言を行った。 3.兵庫県・グリーンピア三木で開催された第2回"3Rシンポジウム"を特定領域(A)「DNA修復欠損の分子病態」大阪大学・花岡文男教授と共催し、大阪府・オオサカサンパレスで開催した「平成11年度文部省科学研究費補助金特定領域研究(A)公開シンポジウム」も同様に大阪大学・花岡文男教授と共催した。 4.福岡市・シーホークホテル&リゾートで開催された「第20会日本分子生物学会年会」のシンポジウム「染色体分配」(オーガナイザー:平賀壯太)に連合王国・オクスフォード大学・Jeffery Errington教授とアメリカ合衆国・ソーク研究所・Gary Karpen助教授を招待し、またErrington教授は熊本大学(平賀壯太、小椋光)を、Karpen助教授は奈良先端科学技術大学院大学(吉川寛、白髭勝彦、釣本敏樹、真木寿冶、守屋成紀)・名古屋大学(桝本寛、杉本勝則、吉田松年、小川徹、依田欣哉)・京都大学(柳田充弘、伊藤嘉明、村上洋太、大森治夫、和田千恵子)の各大学の総括班および班員の研究室を訪問してもらい研究成果の評価を受けた。 5.サーキュラーを発行し、総括班・計画研究班・公募研究の班員間へワークショップやシンポジウムの連絡また報告等を行い連絡をはかった。 6.班員間の連絡のために今年度の計画研究班員及び、公募研究班員の名簿を作成した。
