Research Abstract	本研究は、「重点領域研究」の研究領域を申請するための準備調査をおこなったもであり、固体・溶液界面の反応を対象とした基礎研究・応用研究が統一的に新展開しつつある現状を鑑み、"機能界面の構築と電極反応"に関する研究を重点領域研究として発展させるために研究調査を行った。下記の研究目的がほぼ達成できた。 1.小研究グループによる検討固体/液体界面の電極反応に対して、特に以下の3つのテーマに絞ってグループを組織し、調査研究した。 1)機能界面形成 2)センサー機能界面 3)光機能界面さらに、これらの対象物にとらわれない統一的な研究手法となる 4)電極および表面分子種の溝造評価法を検討するグループを設け、十分な研究討論を通して研究調査を行った。 2.共同調査のまとめ 1)から3)の研究調査を独立な柱とし、また4)の研究調査をその土台として、メノバ-全体からなる全体会議での討論を通じてそれらの調査結果報告を行い、総合的な見地から重点領域研究としての研究課題・実施方法を討論、検討した。また、メンバー全員の研究の指針について発表、討論をし、研究調査体制の確立をほぼ達成した。
