Research Abstract

1.昨年度開発した、空間経済システムの自己組織化・構造変化・進化の長期的プロセスを説明するための基礎的経済学モデルに基づいて、東アジアの経済圏を想定した国際地域モデルを開発し、コンピュータを用いてシミュレーション分析を行った。その結果、長期的な輸送費用の低下に対応して、日本、NIES、その他の途上国を想定した3つの地域間で雁行的な産業の移転と経済成長が起こることを動学的に確認した。また、その際、各地域の厚生水準の変化についても比較検討した結果、先行国は産業の移転により必ずしも不利益を被らないことなどを明らかにした。
2.昨年基礎資料を収集した我が国の代表的なエレクトロニクス関連の9社(日本電気、東芝、日立、富士通、三菱電機、松下、三洋、シャープ、ソニー)について、1960年代以降のグローバルな組織、立地展開について時系列的なファクト・ファインディングおよび要因分析等を行った。次年度においては1.の理論モデルとの関連を踏まえながら、このような多国籍企業が東アジアの雁行的経済発展に及ぼす影響についてより詳細な実証分析を行う予定である。
3.国内的な人口移動の動学的分析の1つとして高等教育の獲得と都市化の関係をモデル化し、コンピユ-タを用いてシミュレーション分析を行った。この結果、高等教育の獲得者が都市において差別化された労働力を都市産業に対して供給し、非獲得者は平均的な労働を都市産業あるいは農村部の産業に提供する場合、高等教育の長期的価値が減衰すると共に獲得者の人口が増加し定常状態に到達するサドル・パスが存在することを確認した。
