| Research Abstract |
本年度における理論研究における第一の成果は,公共財供給メカニズムにおける参加の自発性に関するものである(Saijo and Yamato,forthcoming in Journal of Economic Theory).メカニズムそのものには同意するが,それに必ずしも参加しなくてもよい場合の均衡の特徴付けを行った.複数の均衡が存在することになり,そのうちのどの均衡に到達するのかは定かでない.今後の課題である.第二の成果は,衡平性やワルラス均衡対応を社会目標をできるだけ自然なメカニズムで遂行するための必要・十分条件の提示である(Saijo,Tatamitani,and Yamato,forthcomig inGames and Economic Behavior).衡平対応は自然なメカニズムで遂行できないが,ワルラス対応は自然なメカニズムで遂行できる.
実験研究は,京都会議で提案された排出権取引の具体的な取引方法をとりあげた(Hizen andSaijo,forthcoming in Environmental Modelling and Software).合衆国における二酸化窒素の排出権市場においては,相対取引において大半の排出権が売買されている.経済学研究者の間では,一般に相対取引の効率性は低いとされているが,我々の相対取引実験では非常に高い効率性を観測している.相対取引ではなく,ダブル・オークションを用いても高い効率性を得ることができるが,契約価格のばらつきは相対取引のほうが大きく,同じものを同じ価格で購入可能という公正性の公準を満たすのはダブル・オークションであることを確認している.両者の取引方法の高い効率性については,同じ主体が排出権を売ることも買うこともできる(duaI roIe property)点に着目し,さらなる実験研究を継続している.
