Research Abstract |
Basing on the data analysis and hearing research, we got the research results as follows. Firstly, Prof.Tkunaga, focusing on the logistics strategies of multi national corporations (distribution, finance, settlements, and the locations of headquarters of multi national corporations, etc), did research on the movements of the strategies and tried to built the theory of the strategies. Secondly, incorporation with both graduate students, Kan and Shibata, distribution systems of MNC ware investigated. In this research , the possibility of the movement of third party logistics of Japanese MNC was mentioned. Thirdly, Ogasawara investigated the foreign exchange rate policies of NIES four (Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong) and ASEAN4 (Thailand, Philippine, Malaysia and Indonesia..Particularly, he shed the light on the relationship between development policies and foreign exchange rate policies. Lastly, to make clear the changing of division of labor between Japan and Asian economies (NIES4, ASEAN4 and China), Ishida analyzed high-tech products trade from 1980 to 1995. Basing on 5-digit SITC statistics, some aspects of structural change of international intra-industry division of labor were investigated.
