Research Abstract |
A new optical resolution method for enantiomers by simple distilllation in the presence of optically active host compounds has been developed. Optically active host compounds having high chiral recognition ability have also been designated and prepared. For expmple, 2-hexanol was found to be resolved very efficiently by simple distilllation in the presence of a new tartaric acid dimer host compound.
