柔軟な形状処理を支援するSTEP記述対応の意匠設計システムの試作研究

Research Abstract	仮想環境での操作には,両手による操作が必要なため,音声言語の導入を図った.単語と手の操作を組み合わせた意思伝達の効果は既に確認済みであるが,やはり自由な対話の実現は困難であった.本年は京都大学の堂下研究室から音声認識システムJULLIANを移植し,仮想現実感システムに組み込んだところ,言語・非言語情報を並行利用した仮想環境との対話が,若干の時間遅れで可能となった.音声の認識誤りは,認識した文章を文字として発話者に提示して確認させることにより防止している. この2年間で,サーフェスモデルの局所的な変形,結合演算子による部品の張り合わせを実現したが,部品の切断・削除は未着手であった.ボクセルモデルの切断・削除は既に実現されているが,サーフェスモデルでは,切断前後でシェーディングが変化すること,切断する表面の凹凸が複雑な場合には正しい切断が出来ない場合があるなどの問題があったが,これらを解決した. この結果,自由な切断が可能となったが,人工物の切断では,直線的に切ったり,円形の穴をあけるといった,幾何学的切断が必要である.この実現には,力覚フィードバック装置による刃先の拘束が不可欠と考えている.この装置を使えば,表面と刃先の接触を操作者が直感的に知ることが可能となるため,今後PHANToMを用いて実現を行いたいと考えている. 設計・生産過程のグローバル化のためのサーバークライアント化について試作をない,設計への遠隔/分散参加を実現した.しかしながら,現システムの仮想物体記述はOpen InventorのIVファイルを用いており,研究申請時に提案したSTEP記述への統合は未着手の状態である.従って,現在クライアントとなりうるシステムの条件としてOpen Inventorが最低条件となる. 上記の各システムの試作には成功したが,意匠設計システムにそれら全てが統合的に導入されたわけではない.これらを含めてさらなる展開を目指したいと考えている.
