Research Abstract |
The system of supply and demand of rice, human migrations at South China area in Ming and Qing dynasty were made clear by this study. The system of supply and demand of rice was that Taiwan supply Fujian with rice, and Guangxi supply Guangdong with rice in Ming, Qing period, but it was that Wufu, Siam and Annam supply Fujian with rice, Siam and Annam supply Guangdong with rice, Taiwan supply Japan from Japan rule Taiwan in 1895. People in Fujian and Chaozhou, Huizhou Guangdong migrated to Taiwan in Ming. Qing period, but people in this area did not migrate Taiwan, Japanese migrated Taiwan from 1895. The principle of same family and same district in South China spreded to Taiwan, colonists from Fujian : . often fighted against colonists from Guangdong in Taiwan consequently. This fight was disappeared from Japan rule Taiwan in 1895. Fujian, Guangdong and Taiwan belonged to the economic bloc of South China in Ming, Qing period, but Fujian and Guangdong belonged to the economic bloc of Central and South China, Southeast Asia, Taiwan belonged to the economic bloc of Japan from 1895
