Research Abstract |
Macroohge-like type A like synoviocytes from RA patients were shown to secrete endothel in (ET), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and lactic dehydrobenase (LDH). The mechanism and properties of these substances were investigated. ET-1 is secreted from macrophage-like synobiocytes, but not from fibroblast-like B cells, RA synovial fluid cells and 7 establishd human cells. Analysis by HPLC disclosed that ET-1 is the major ET isynovial fluid. (CCA,1997, ACB,1998) Furthermore, cultured flids of these synoviocytes were screeened for about 30 laboratory test items and higher levels of ALP and LDH were detected. ALP secreted from type A like cells ditsributed in alpha-beta region on electrophoresis. Properties are as follows : neuraminidase sensitive, heat-stable (56゚C,10-30 min), slight inhibition by 1-phenylalanine and high affinity to wheat germ lectin (90%). The significances of ET and ALP in the pathogenesis of joint inflammations are unknown.
