| Research Abstract |
ネットワークなどの大規模組合せ的システムの信頼性解析や最適設計において現れる劣モジュラ構造に注目し、劣モジュラ解析の観点から大規模組合せ的システムの解析・設計のための実用的効率的解析技法を開発し、実用化研究の過程で得られる新しい知見をもとに劣モジュラ解析の理論的新展開を目指すべく、研究を推進している。
平成8、9年度にわたる研究計画に沿って行われた平成8年度の研究実績は次のとおりである。
(1)ネットワークなどの大規模組合せ的システムの信頼性解析や最適設計、とくにネットワークの連結度、頑健性、強化およびスケジューリングに関連して現れる劣モジュラ構造についてのこれまでの研究を文献調査した。
(2)調査し、分類された解析技法、設計技法のうちで、重要かつ有効であると思われるものを拾い上げて、理論的かつアルゴリズム的観点からその構造を詳細に吟味した。劣モジュラ構造および最近注目される双劣モジュラ構造と組合せ最適化問題との関係を重点的に考察した。
(3)以上の研究の過程において、劣モジュラ関数や双劣モジュラ関数によって表現される組合せ的システムに関するいくつかの成果を得て、論文として公表した。劣モジュラ・フローに関するもの1編、双劣モジュラ関数に関するもの2編、双向グラフに関するもの2編の合わせて5編の論文である。
