| Research Abstract |
基礎:基礎研究としては2つのテーマを扱った。1つは,生産システムの設計のために必要となる最適問題に関している。この問題でよく使われる3つの評価基準下での最適解が,かなりゆるい条件下で一定の大小関係により順序づけ可能であることの証明を完了している。これは,設計の際には,3つの基準の1つ「最小生産費用」の下での最適解を使えばよいことを示している。また従来のこの分野での研究結果は,我々の結果で統一的に解すことができる(これらは,EJORの論文として刊行されつつある)。もう1つのテーマは,複雑化している生産システムの設計を確率モデルにより行うことに関している。この確率モデルからシステムの性能指標を得るための解法に,新しい特性‘guasi-product form'を導入することである。セットアップサーバを共有する生産システムでは,この特性がきわめて有効に使えることを明らかにしている。
応用:FMSの各機械に設けるべきローカルバッファサイズは小さくてもよいことを明らかにしている。実際のサイズの決定では,AGVの搬送時間・機械加工時間のバラツキを考慮する必要性を明らかにし,この決定法に着手したところである。
