| Research Abstract |
前年度ひ引き続き、アリ類、チョウ類、ヨコバイ類について、サンプリング、分析、評価を行った。
アリ類調査:本年度は1)緯度による多様性の変化、2)調査方法による多様性の測定結果の違い、について重点的に調査研究した。前者については、北海道、兵庫、福岡、南西諸島での調査結果を比較検討し、北海道では明らかに種類数が低下することが示された。後者については単位時間調査法の効率について比較検討した。単位時間を40分、30分、15分、10分、5分で設定すると、4時間の調査では15分の単位時間による調査方法がもっとも多数の種類を得られた。
チョウ類調査:7月に奄美大島、沖縄本島、石垣島でのトランセクト法による調査を実施した。総計で約30種を確認できた。時期的に貧弱ではあったが、1日あたり20〜30種のチョウを確認している。北部九州のデータと比較すると種類組成が大きく異なり、共通種は5種前後しか見られない。北九州市の保全緑地で調査の成果は日本昆虫学会大会で公表した。
ヨコバイ類調査:今年度は、継続調査の福岡市,沖縄本島、西表島に加えて福岡県北部の5島嶼、大分県久住高原、石垣島、与論国島で調査を行った。その結果、ある調査地の推測総種数の80%を採集するために最低限必要なサンプリング回数(スィーピング)は,草原性環境で300回、温帯の森林性環境で480回、亜熱帯の森林環境で600回であることが示唆された.
