Research Abstract	本年度は7月から8月にかけて南アフリカ共和国、ナミビア共和国、ジンバブエ共和国地域の野外地質調査を行い、南アフリカ、ナミビア、及びジンバブエ国の現地研究者の協力を得て、約1200個の試料を採取し、それらを日本に無事輸送することができた。それらの試料は日本に到着後、直ちに岩石研磨片に作成され、顕微鏡観察によって組織、鉱物組み合わせが検討された。それらのうち、幾らかの試料は既に粉砕され、主成分と微量成分の化学分析(蛍光X線分析装置による)が行われた。さらに造岩鉱物の化学分析がEPMAによってなされ、コマチアイトマグマの初生マグマの主成分組成が求められた。昨年度予察的に収集した試料のなかからクロムスピネルが発見され、その僅かのガラス包有物が未変質のまま保存されていることを発見した。その包有物の水素の定量分析がSIMSによってなされ、MgO=30wt%のときの含水量が0.6%であることが明らかになった。
