| Research Abstract |
近年発達した生命科学の手法を用い、熱帯地域に見られるマラリア抵抗性といった現象を、遺伝的多様性の観点から細胞・分子レベルにおいて検索し、遺伝的適応か否か明らかにするとともに、ancientDNA解析からそれらの起源を探ることを目的とする。
本年度は以下の成果を得た。
1. インドネシアジャワ島中部に見られた家族性視神経症大家系の遺伝的背景を探り、ミトコンドリア遺伝子の突然変異を同定した。また、細胞株を樹立し今後の研究材料とした。
2. 3日熱マラリア原虫のレセプターであり抵抗性と関連するダフイー血液型抗原に関しては、血清・分子型判定をおこない、血清判定の不備を指摘するとともに、
アジアにおけるFy対立遺伝子の存在を否定した。
3. インドネシアジャワ中部の山間部で欠失型バンド3蛋白遺伝子を持つ家系を見いだし、マラリア抵抗性の研究を開始した。
4. EBウイルス陽性Tリンパ腫におけるウイルス亜型の検索をおこなった。5. 非定住性狩猟採集民ムラブリの調査を開始した。
