Research Abstract	戸田は平成9年9月9日〜18日の間ドイツのオルデンブルグ大学にGerd Kaupp教授を訪問し、共同研究の研究成果を互いに報告、討論し、論文原稿作成を共同で行った。又、この次に取り上げる研究課題について相談し、ジアレンの結晶中の熱環化反応に決め、ドイツ側でAFM測定を、日本側で構造化学的研究を行うことにした。戸田は又、平成9年12月9日から20日の間ニューヨークのコロンビア大学にNina Berova教授を訪問し、固体のCDスペクトル測定に関する共同研究の打ち合わせを行った。特に、結晶状態での誘起CDスペクトル法の開発と応用に関する研究に関して詳細な打ち合わせを行った。これに先立ち、Nina Berova教授が平成9年10月23日から11月8日まで松山に来訪、滞在してCDスペクトルに関する共同研究の綿密な打ち合わせを行った。この結果、上記の固相誘起CDスペクトル法の新しい測定方法が樹立できたもである。田中は平成9年8月27日〜9月5日の間、ドイツのオルデンブルグ大学にGerd Kaupp教授を訪問し、(+)体結晶と(-)体結晶の固相混合によるラセミ体結晶への変換などの最新の研究成果に関して討論を行った。宮本は平成9年8月12日〜21日の間、ドイツのオルデンブルグ大学にGerd Kaupp教授を訪問し、固体状態での不斉光反応を中心に、キラルな結晶環境下での不斉選択的な分子移動及び化学反応の動的分子移動に関する共同研究の打ち合わせを行った。
