Research Abstract	学術情報の国際的な流通と共有を促進するため、平成10年度もタイとの間の国際リンクを有効活用するための情報流通方策、共有方式について共同研究した。その一環として、AITにおいて本研究に関する国際ワークショップ(WAINS-5)を開催した。ワークショップでは、日・タイ両国の研究者で共同研究されているテーマについて討論した。以上を要約すると、次のようになる。 1) NACSISタイプロジェクトのもとに国際共同研究を推進した。ワークショップ(WAINS-5)を実施し、研究状況について報告した。 2) 上記に係る研究成果発表をProceedingsとしてまとめて発行した。 3) 国際インターネット接続によるアプリケーションの実証研究、特にインターネットビデオ会議により共用研究の促進に役立てた。 4) タイからのNACSIS資源の利用促進をはかるため、ネットワークの遠隔教育をした。 5) 日米文化教育会議カルコンにおいて、情報アクセスの主査として日米情報アクセスに関する調査、提言をした。 6) アジア地域における将来の学術情報交換システムの形成に関して、タイ以外の国々との学術研究交流の方策を検討した。 7) 日仏間におけるハイパメディア文化資産の共有のためのデータベース研究を行った。
