Research Abstract |
本研究グループで行っている五つのテーマに対し、以下テーマごとに研究成果の概要を記す。 (a) 2次に近い変位型相変態の研究では、Ti-Ni、Ti-Ni-Fe、Ti-Ni-Cu合金の弾性定数の温度依存性を系統的に測定し、弾性定数c'、c_<44>及び弾性異方性A=c_<44>/c'の温度依存性からTi-Ni合金特有のmonoclinicマルテンサイト生成の原因を明らかにすることができた。 (b) 変位型1次相変態と格子欠陥の相互作用に関しては、B2型金属間化合物における格子欠陥(空孔及びASD)を合金組成及び温度の関数として評価する新しい方法を提唱し、従来から言われているconstitutional vacancyは存在しないことを示した。 (c) 変位型1次相変態の熱力学に対する新しいアプローチでは、Ni濃度を増加して非等温変態を抑制したFe-32.6at%Ni合金に等温変態が存在することを実証した。さらに、この合金に磁場を印加すると瞬時にマルテンサイト変態変態が誘起されることを確認し、等温変態から非等温変態に移行することを明らかにした。 (d) 薄膜における変位型1次相変態の研究では、種々の組成のNi過剰Ti-Ni合金薄膜に2方向形状記憶処理を施し、熱処理条件、組織、特性の関係を明らかにした。また、Ti過剰Ti-Ni合金非晶質薄膜について電子顕微鏡観察で調べ、製膜後の熱処理による結晶化過程、析出形態(特にTi過剰板状析出物、球状Ti2Niの形態、サイズ)について明らかにした。 (e) Fe-Ni合金ナノ粒子の変位型1次相変態を格子軟化の観点から、透過電顕観察と電子回折により調べた。この結果、室温におけるオーステナイト粒子の温度因子はバルクの値の一桁以上、原子の平均二乗変位の平方根にしておよそ3.5倍大きいことが分かった。このことからナノ粒子における顕著な格子軟化は変位型一次相変態に対する促進効果は弱いと考えられる。
