Research Abstract

計画班29名、公募班48名の計77名を原子・結晶アロイ班、界面・微構造アロイ班、表面・裏面アロイ班、機能展開班ならびに総括班に分け、それぞれの分担者会議を3回、全体会議を2回、総括班会議を2回開催した。その中で、今年度の特徴は炭素分野以外からのメンバーが多いことから分担者会議でカーボンの基本のセミナーを開催し、1泊2日で、全員同じ宿舎に泊まり、夜遅くまで議論を深めることができた。また、炭素の用語辞典が世界的に無かったことから、用語辞典の編集の第一段階としての用語の洗い出しを行った。
シンポジウムは7月28日・29日に群馬県桐生市において行った。また、成果報告会は千葉大学で炭素材料学会の研究会と合同で行った。70件以上の発表を全員で勉強し、議論を可能とするように1人2分のポスタープレビューを行い、その後ポスターで約3時間の個別な質疑が交わされた。これにより、幅広い議論が可能であった。成果報告会での全体会議において井口洋夫・元分子研所長の講演があり、炭素に関する研究の重要性に関してお話を伺うことができた。
以上の全体会議、分担者会議、総括班会議によりカーボンアロイ学の検討、先端研究の進展、共同研究の実施により新分野の展開等が可能となった。
