Research Abstract	数値シミュレーションによる有限温度格子量子色力学の研究を行った。本年度に得られた主な結果は以下のとおりである。 1.up-downクォークとstrangeクォークの質量が異なる場合の有限温度QCDの相図は、現実世界の有限温度相転移の理解に重要であるにも拘わらず、散発的にしか調べられていない。年次計画に従い、今年度は、Kogut-Susskindクォーク作用を用いて、up-downクォーク質量m_<ud>とstrangeクォーク質量m_5が異なる場合の有限温度QCDの相図の分析を行った。格子サイズ8^3x4のシミュレーションにより、(m_<ud>,m_5)平面上を系統的に調べ、相転移線を同定した。さらに、m_<ud>とm_5が等しい場合について、16^3x4格子を含む詳細な計算を行い、軽いクォークに対しては1次転移であるが、ある臨界質量で一次転移が消失すること、この臨界質量値では2次転移が存在し、フレーバー一重項のシグマ中間子が質量ゼロになる証拠を見いだした。以上の結果は理論的に予想されながら、現在までその正否が未解決であった事柄である。 Wilson型クォーク作用に基づく有限温度量子色力学の研究について、連続極限への収束が早くなるように工夫された「改善された作用」による研究を推進した。このような作用に対してエネルギー密度・圧力などの熱力学量を見いだす方法のテストケースとして、クォークを無視した純グルオン系のシミュレーションを行い、標準的な作用を用いて得られた結果と連続極限において一致する結果を得た。異なる作用を用いて、連続極限における一致を直接確認した数少ない例である。また、クォークを含む場合について、プログラム開発及び予備計算を行い、次年度以降に予定する大規模計算のための準備を整えた。
