Research Abstract	平成11年度には、フレーバー数2の動的クォークを含むQCD(フルQCD)の系統的シミュレーションをさらに進め、特に、最も大きな格子24^3×48(格子間隔a=0.1fm)の統計を高めた。これにより、すでに生成されているa=0.2fm,0.15fmの配位と併せて、カイラル極限、連続極限を精密に研究できる配位の組がそろった。また、動的クォーク効果を直接調べるために、フルQCDと同じ改良された格子作用によるクエンチ近似シミュレーションを実行した。これらの配位を系統的に解析した結果、現在までに以下の成果を得た。1)クエンチ近似の場合、標準作用でも改良作用でも、軽いハドロンの質量スペクトルが実験値から約10%ずれるが、フレーバー数2のフルQCDでは実験値に大幅に近い値となる。よって、クェンチ近似に由来する誤差の大きな部分を、フレーバー数2のフルQCDによって取り除くことが出来た。2)フルQCDで得られたu,d及びsクォークの質量は、クエンチ近似の場合より20-40%小さい。これは、クォーク質量がこれまで考えられていた値よりかなり小さいことを示唆しており、弱電相互作用などの現象論的解析に大きな影響を与える。3)フレーバー1重のη'中間子の質量をフルQCDで初めて系統的に計算し、連続極限で実験値に近い値を得た。これは、U(1)問題がQCDで解決できることを示唆する。4)弱電相互作用の研究に重要な、重いbクォークを含む中間子の崩壊係数を計算し、フルQCDでは崩壊係数がこれまでのクエンチ近似の値より約10%大きいことを示した。この他にも、グルオン配位の位相的電荷や有限温度QCD、弱電相転移の研究も行った。また、新しい格子カイラルフェルミオンによるQCD計算を開始し、クエンチ近似の予備研究の結果、改良された格子作用を用いれば現実的なシミュレーションに使いうるとの結果を得た。
