Research Abstract	・分散マネージメントソリトン伝送のフィルタや同期変調器による制御において、制御の効率が、分散マップ中の制御素子の位置に大きく依存することを線形安定性解析によって明らかにした。・分散マネージメント能動モード同期レーザの出力パルスの時間ジッタおよびエネルギージッタを理論計算および数値シミュレーションによって求め、それらの値の分散マネージメントの強さに対する依存性を明らかにした。・ソリトン波長分割多重伝送において、チャネル間相互作用は主としてパルスの時間位置のずれに現れることに着目し、受信器においてデータ判定時刻を微調整することによってチャネル間相互作用の影響を大幅に低減できることを示した。・昨年度提案した正常分散ファイバの非線形性を利用した新しい光RZ受信器を、10Gbit/sスライディング周波数制御光ソリトン伝送の受信部に適用して、位相余裕とともに振幅余裕が大幅に拡大することを実験で示した。・分散マネージメント周期を光増幅器間隔と比べて小さくした40Gbit/s高密度分散マネージメントソリトンの周回伝送実験を行い、1,630km伝送後のアイパターンを観測した。・分散フラットファイバで構成した高密度分散幅マネージメント伝送路に、幅3.7psの2パルスを伝送させ、パルス間相互作用によって伝送後の間隔が狭くなることを観測した。・長さ1.5kmの分散フラットファイバを26本接続して高密度分散マネージメント伝送路を構築した。伝送実験の結果、幅2.6ps、繰返し周波数87GHzのソリトンパルス列が約600kmにわたって波形歪みをおこすことなく伝搬可能であることが確認された。また、非線形性によるソリトントラップの効果により偏波モード分散に起因するパルス幅のひろがりが抑えられていることを示した。・分散マネージメント伝送路におけるパルス間相互作用を調べる過程において、長距離にわたってパルス衝突を起こすことなく伝搬可能なパラメータ領域が存在することを示し、その領域において、2つのパルスからなる定常解として双峰ソリトンが存在することを数値シミュレーションにより発見した。また、この双峰ソリトンを応用してパルス間相互作用を抑えるための伝送路符号の割当法を提案した。
