| Research Abstract |
代表者は,i)分担者石川と共に,Pfaffianの和公式の導出.応用としての行列式・Pfaffianの値の評価による,古典群の指標に関するLittlewoodの公式の系統的な一般化を行った.ii)研究協力者梅田亨氏(京大理)を得て,群不変性では扱えなかった対象での表現論・不変式論の新しい側面の開拓を目指し,量子群対称性に基づくCapelli恒等式,dual pairの理論のモデルを構築,発展させた.他方,古典的枠組みの中での問題であったGL_Nが交代行列の空間に働くときの明示的Capelli恒等式も得た.iii)体積有限な負曲率の局所リーマン対称空間の場合に,素閉測地線定理の拡張であるホロノミーの共役類分布に関する密度定理を証明した(with P.Sarnak).iv)2次元行列型の非可換調和振動子を導入し,oscillator表現の議論の一般化を実行,そのスペクトルの連分数による記述を行った.このスペクトルの研究の表現論からの位置付けに関しレビューを受けるためJ.Faraut氏(Paris第7大学)を招聘し,さらにO.Liess,C.Parenti氏ら(共にBologna大)にPDEの見地から議論を交すためにイタリアを訪問した.
分担者今野は,保型形式に付随するGalois表現の構成等の際に障害となる巾単型保型形式の記述をめざし,巾単型保型表現のもっとも基本的な例としてEisenstein級数の留数として得られる表現たちを記述した.分担者脇本は,アフィン・リー環,スーパー・リー環,頂点作用素代数の構造および表現を研究,アフィン・リー環についてはadmissible表現のorbifoldの構造と指標を調べ,それのmodular変換を求めた.分担者三鳥川は行列環上のDirichlet級数の研究を行った.また分担者石川は,代表者との共同研究のほかHook formulrasのq-類似を研究した.
