変位電流法による分子膜ナノ界面の誘電・電子的構造の解析と分子形態記録

Research Abstract

本研究は、申請者の提案した単分子膜の電気物性の評価法である変位電流法を基礎として、各種の外部刺激を分子膜に加えた時に発生するナノ有機膜界面における電子移動による電子状態変化と分子の形態変化に着目して、こうした変化を変位電流や表面電位法により計測して、誘電体電子物性の立場から、双極性分子の物質界面での誘電性、さらには分子膜界面のナノ領域のナノ界面電子移動現象を解き明かす手法を開発することを目的としている。また、この目的より物質界面での電子の微視的移動や分子形態変化の様が定量的に明かとなるので、この結果を踏まえて、超構造分子膜内での電子の微視的変位および双極性分子の形態変化に基づく光・変位電流変換型の記録素子の試作などを行う事を狙って計画されたものである。具体的に、下記のような成果が得られている。
(l)双極性ナノ界面電子物性評価
ブラウン運動方程式を基礎として、分子膜の誘電緩和時間や配向度の変化を理論的かつ実験的に評価することができた。また、双極性分子膜の相転移温度の評価、基板効果を考慮した誘電異方性を持つ分子の誘電的構造を理論及び実験的に明らかにできた。
(2)電子性ナノ界面電子物性評価
(1)超構造分子膜内での電子の移動電荷量および移動速度を評価できた。(2)金属と分子膜界面での移動電荷により形成されるナノ界面の空間的電荷分布およびエネルギー準位分布を実験的かつ理論羽的に評価できた。
(3)界面を利用したエレクトロニクスヘの展開
(l)光異性化による分子の形態変化の記録と液晶性極性分子の配向変化に関する基礎的な知見を得た。
