| Research Abstract |
1. Nuclear DNA injuries occurred in the rat liver after acute ethanol administration
2. Cytochrome P450 2E1 played an important role in increase of hepatic DNA injuries by ethanol.
3. Ethanol rapidly activated NF-kappaB in perfused rat livers
4. Dual properties of ethanol-stimulated NE-kappaB activation
5. Kupffer cells played an important role in hepatic NF-kappaB activation
6. Ethanol activated AP-1 as well as NE-kappaB
7. MEKK1 played a key role in celluar NF-kappaB activation by ethanol
